Like i said, no problems on my 360 with it and im connected online all the while.
I finished it on the 360 at the weekened (840 points gained so far) and didn't have a single problem. It sounds like these issues are mainly effecting the PS3 version. Thats quite bad on Ubisofts front. Shouldn't have happened with a big title like this.
This is a lovely looking game and it looks like a good solid title. The guys voice annoys me a little and Lara's sexier(for a game character) but a great game. Lets all buy it though this time and give it some sales.
The end song in 'Portal' off 'Orange Box'...thats on of the best i have ever heard.

Now, although the 360 does have a fair share of FPS's i would say it's libary is as mixed as the PS3's..probably even more so at this stage. It's just that the big sellers seem to be mainly FPS's.
I was on about level design not the games graphics etc sheezzz.
GoldenEye had great level design to. And H-Life.
While COD4 is a good game if he thinks thats the best level in a FPS he must have been living under a rock for the last ten years.
The silent catographger in Halo1 easily bests this and thats years old, also the cradle level in theif3 is way better than this.
Its a good solid game but no way does it have the best level ever.
Also this isnt nearly as hard as number2 was on Veteran.
Good news for Sony on there sales. I do have to say though i think the Dynasty Warrior's games are awful. Probably the worst games i have ever played.I just don't get what the japanese see in them, everything about them is just...well ...below par shall we say.
Alan Wake is probably the game im looking forward to most, it just looks amazing. The weather and day/night cycle look to be the best ever seen. As long as the story holds up this good be something very special.
I recently tried the demo for the new nned for speed and actually thought it was quite good. Much better than the previous effots.
I don't see why people get so annoyed about whether games are exclusive or not. The more people who can play a good game the better. Alan wake looks like its going to be an amazing game so to say its rubbish just because its not on the Ps3 is just ridiculous and short sighted. A good game is a good game regardless on what platform its on. It's not as though we work for these companies or anything.
Also do people dont realise that even if Sony or microsoft don't own the company they can...
First of all the game isnt cancelled... remedy have confirmed this and two the demo shown running on the pc looks fantastic, and remedy have said the 360 version is identical. Get over it. This is gonna be great.
Yeah, that is a problem. Maybe we will just have to wait for another new media to evolve to be a scapegoat.
I think a lot of it is also that the people censoring these games never grew up with them, it's not really something they understand so they immediatly fear and censor it.
I think age restrictions should be inforced but game developer's like film makers and writers should be allowed to express their creativity.
Uwe's metal gear film....im going to get a 20 year old woman in a bikini to play snake. She will be infiltrating a hooker's den. I will have a budget of $50. The crew members can double up as other characters. Special effects will be completed on a commodore 64. Metal gear will be created by paper maching robo raptor. And it will be the greatest movie ever............
I must say that the ps3 has proven to be a really solid build. This story sounds like nonsense. If anything the shop probably sold 5 and got 2 bad ones from a duff batch giving them the 40% figure. I find this very hard to belive going by Sony's excellent track record for harware this generation.
Although i agree with a lot of points here and i am generally against censorship i think a lot of it is still down to parents leeting kids play these games. Until people realise that games rated 18 are for adults only and not for little johnny to play the BBFC will continue to enforce cuts or bans. Parents have to realise that just because it is a videogame its not neccesairly for children, the BBFC im sure would free up games like manhunt if they knew only adults were playing it. I often upload a photo onto my 360 and use that as a theme... just seems a lot easier to me.
Yes the 360 does have some great games but you also have to take in 'Achivements'. I know of so many people who will buy a rubbish game just to boost their achivement score. I have to say who ever thought of the idea needs a pat on the back from microsoft.
Having played COD4 i agree that its a great looking game but i wouldn't say it was a fantastic game. The A.i is awful, the physics dated and it just keeps throwing enemies at you until you reach the check point. Your team are usless and don't seem to die,not that the A.i seems to shoot them anyway.
Its very pretty and enjoyable but it doesn't seem to have much going on under the bonnet so to speak, there are much better shooters out there.
